Pretty Plate

I recently bought a Pip Studio plate to add to a mixed collection I have hanging on the wall – I love using concealed plate hangers, which are “temporarily” glued to the back of plates, but which can be easily be removed from the plates by soaking them in warm water. They are so easy to use, they don’t mark the plates, and there is no unsightly metal showing.  I buy the ones sold by The Disc Plate Hanger Company, which are widely available online, including from Hobby Craft.

Before hanging the plate, I took the opportunity to take a quick picture of some of our ceramic door knobs sitting very prettily on it, picking out various highlight colours on the plate - they look good enough to eat!
